You may come across a 2005 Ford E150 with a 5.4L
with multiple error codes and a possible transmision
failsafe operation. Remove the air duct housing and
inspect the ECM harness near the EGR tube. The
harness will rub through the tube's insulation and
come in direct contact with the tube partially melting
the wires in the harness.

If you come across a 2004 Chevy G2500 with a 6.0L
setting multiple codes such as p0300, p0358 or
alternator circuit faults, take a close inspection
of the ECM harness where it comes in contact with
the driver side upper A-frame bushing. It is not
uncommon for the A-frame bushing to wear a grove
into the ECM harness and damaging wires in its
path.
