You may come across a 2003 Chevy Express with a 4.8L
experiencing a security light on followed by a no start
situation. Don't be too quick to replace the pass-lock
cylinder or the BCM. Pull the glove box and take a close
ispection of the BCM harness to make sure it has not come
in contact with the dash support bar and shorted wires
pertaining to the pass-lock circuit.

You may come across a 1999 Mitsubishi Galant with a 2.4L
experiencing a rich operation with possibly no codes
stored in memory. Take a close inspection of the O2
harness connector near the thermostat housing. It is
not uncommon to find antifreeze seeping into the
connector creating a connection problem that will
cause the ECM to see low O2 activity and command
the ECM to increase fuel delivery.
